Black Queens Finally Leaves M-Plaza Hotel

The Ghana National women football team(Black Queens) has lodge out of the M- plaza hotel here in Accra after receiveing $5000 each in a presidential intervention.

Head coach of the team Yussif Basigi in a telephone interview confirmed their departure to SportsfileGhana.

The Black Queens won Gold at the just ended all African Games where they recorded 1-0 victory over Cameroon in the women football final match.

The Gold winning team upon their arrival refused to leave their hotel after rejecting the $2000 offered them by the Ministry of sports for the sterling performance they putted up in Congo, Brazzaville.

President Mahama following a directive on tuesday orderd that the girls to be paid $5000 each in the interim, whiles preparations are made for the amount owe the to be settled.

The Queens are expecting to receive an amount of $23,000 in outstanding bonuses owe them by the Ministry of Sports for the past two years.
