Kotoko Accra rep throws weight behind Kuffuor

imagesKumasi Asante Kotoko outspoken Accra representative, Edmund Ackah has declared his support for newly- appointed Chief Executive Officer( CEO) and former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour.

Life patron of kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu ||, has already given the former Bayern Munich defender the mandate to manage the affairs of the kumasi-based club, following the decision to relieve Opoku Nti who anchored the former administration, of it’s duties.

In an interview with happy FM, an Accra-based radio station this morning, Ackah said Kuffuor is capable of assuming the position, adding that “I’m sure if he could not do the job, Otumfuo wouldn’t have called him”
” Before Otumfuo calls you for the job, then he knows you can deliver” he added.

Ackah also asserted that he is ready to support Kuffour to achieve the best for Kotoko.

In a related development, the outgoing Opoku Nti has thrown his weight behind Sammy Kuffour to lead the club back where it belongs.

He said that “we all want the best for the club and will support in any way we can to help the team progress.”

Nti, the newly- elected Ghana Football Association(GFA) Executive Committee member, thanked Otumfuo Osei Tutu for the opportunity he gave to him to lead one of the best club in Africa and also wished the club well in its endeavours.
