Agyeman Badu to captain Black Stars in Canada friendly

imagesUdinese ball- battling midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman- Badu, has been confirmed to lead the Ghana Black Stars in their friendly game against Canada at the RFK stadium in Washington, USA tomorrow.

The 25 year old, has been handed the captains arm band due to the absence of substantive captain Asamoah Gyan, and vice captain Andre Ayew, who are all missing the game through injuries.

Badu, who happens to be one of the Olders players in the 18 man squad brought out by Coach Avram Grant, has featured for the Stars 62 times since making his debut in June 2008 and had gone on to score 10 goals for Ghana.

The 2012 FIFA puskas award nominee has demonstrated leadership skills anytime he plays and will be hoping to lead the stars to victory tomorrow.
