Black Princesses for Ethiopia battle on Saturday

imagesGhana’s Black Princesses, are poised for qualification in their FIFA u-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The Princesses travel to Addis Ababa, on Thursday to play their Ethiopian counterparts in the final hurdle of the 2016 tournament to be staged in the Papua New Guinea.

Ghana edge past Equatorial Guinea on a 3-0 goal aggregate after thrashing Senegal on a 6-0 in the preliminaries. Ethopia on the other hand, eliminated Burkina Faso on a 2-0 aggregate to reach this stage.

This will be the the first time both teams cross path at that stage of women football but the Ghanaian women will try to get a convincing scoreline to boost their chance of qualification when they host them in two weeks time for. the return league.

The princesses will hoping to book their ticket to their fourth World cup when they play as guest in the qualifier game on Saturday October 24.

The winner of both legs will get one of the two slot reserve for Africa to represent the continent in the 8th edition of the world cup scheduled to start on the 28th October and end on the on November 16.
