Head Coach of the National football team Avram Grant has named his 23 man squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifier game against Comoros on Friday November 13, 2015.
The Black Stars play as host to Comoros, before they return to take on the Southern Africans at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for the second leg of the qualifiers in four days time.
Whiles winger Christian Atsu, has missed out on the list, Skipper Asamoah Gyan and his deputy Andre Ayew have all returned to the team after they both pull pulled out of the Canada friendly with injuries.
Defenders Harrison Afful and John Boye maintain their position in team whereas Jonathan Mensah, return to the team after serving four month ban by FIFA for breaching a contract he had with Udinese.
WAFA’s Samuel Tetteh, goalkeeper duo of Wa All Stars Richard Ofori and Champions Ashgold’s Fatau Dauda are the only local players included in the team.
Former Hearts of Oak skipper Mahatma Otoo, who was tipped to make the list after putting up a sterling performance for his Norwegian club Sogdal, has once again missed out on the list.
