Ghana Black Stars striker Abdul Majeed Waris, was on the score sheet for lorient in their Coup de France game against Tours this afternoon.
The striker beautifully converted a spot kick in the 26th minutes to put his club in front after referee Ruddy Buquet, whistled for an infringement in the 18 yard box.
Romain Philipoteaux, added a second goal on the 57th minute to make it 2-0 for Lorient.
But goals from Ibrahima Jardia, in the 50th minute and another from Harris Belkebla, in 64th minutes made it 2-2 which dragged the game into extra time.
Lorient came back into the game yet again 99th minutes to make it 3-2 after Benjamin Jeannot slotted home a beautiful goal to win the day for them.
Warris joined them from Turkish side Tranzorspor in the summer for a fee of €4.5m and has now scored nine goals for them this season.
