Bechem United have asked Portuguese trainer Manuel Zacharias to step aside barely two weeks after leading the club to their firs ever MTN FA Cup final.
Manuel Zacharias is being punished for disrespecting camp rules after defying orders to travel with his girlfriend/partners to Wa All Stars last Sunday for a league match.
He refused to travel with the team bus to face the Northern Blues and this led to a melee between him and the club’s team manager.
Bechem United lost the match 2-0 which saw the Hunters slip into the relegation zone.
A club statement read: “We would like to notify you of our decision that you immediately step aside from all activities of Bechem United.
“This includes but not limited to training the players, handling technical direction for matches, team selection and sitting in the technical area during matches.”
