The Ghana Black Princesses will today depart the country for Spain to embark on a training tour ahead of the 2018 Fifa women youth world cup scheduled for France.
The Playing body and coaching team are expected to leave the country today to the European country as they prepare for the tournament which is slated for August 5 to August 25 this year.
Ghana youth women team have a rich history in Africa winning the African competition on three occasions in 2010, 2012 and 2014 but struggles at the world stage.
Having been unable to progress past the group stages, the team has set a target of reaching the knockout phase of the competition this time around.
Ghana have been housed alongside host nation France, the Netherlands and New Zealand in Group A and plays their first game against host country France in the opening game.
