Sougne Yacouba silence Hearts of Oak in Kumasi

Sougne Yacouba sends Hearts packing

Burkinabe import Sougne Yacouba sent Heats of Oak packing from Kumasi with nothing after his two goals won Kotoko the day in the ‘Super 2″ game played on Sunday.

Yacouba scored in both half to hand the Porcupine Warriors a 2-0 victory in the first leg of the double header friendly played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak who claims the Baba Yara Sports Stadium has become their adopted home grounds due to the kind of performance they put up anytime they play there could not work the magic this time as they lost to the original owners of the grounds Asante Kotoko.

Despite the game being a friendly, both sides paraded one of their best players for the tie but it was the Reds who carried the day after full time.

Hearts of Oak ended the game with ten men after defender Robert Addo was shown the second yellow card after a foul on Sougne Yacouba.

The second leg of the game comes off next Sunday at the same venue.
