Ghana Black Stars winger Frank Acheampong has been ruled out of the African Nations cup qualifier against Kenya with an eye problem.
The China based forward has been granted permission by coach Kwesi Appiah to leave the team’s camp in Nairobi.
He is said to have suffered an acute eye problem and was under treatment since joining the Black Stars camp in Addis Ababa on Tuesday.
Acheampong is to travel to Europe for the eye treatment after complaining the situation was getting serious.
The player has been on form in the Chinese Super league scoring 13 goals for Tiandjin Teda.
