Black Stars forward Emmanuel Boateng says he is ready for the game against Asante Kotoko on Friday.
The Levante forward was invited for the Africa Cup Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone but it was cancelled following the dispute between the FA and government of the West African nation.
Despite the cancellation of the game, Boateng says he is eager to face the Porcupine Warriors.
“I am ready, actually I came home for the Sierra Leone game but unfortunately, it’s been canceled but as a footballer, you always have to make your mind whether there is a game or not, “So if we are playing Kotoko, I am ready for the game.” Boateng told the media after training.
Coach Kwesi Appiah will use the Kotoko game to test his team’s strength after the Sierra game was cancelled by Caf due to a fifa ban placed on the SLFA.
