The Ghana Black Stars showed their superiority by beating club side Asante Kotoko by 3-0 in a friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday.
Goals from Abdul Majeed Waris, Emmanuel Boateng and Christian Atsu was enough for the senior national team to win over the Ghanaian giants.
Majeed Warris shot the Black Stars in the lead in the 20th first half after benefiting from a poor kick from Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
Substitute Emmanuel Boateng gave the Ghana Senior team a second goal of the day two minutes into the second half before Newcastle’s Christian Atsu added the third goal in the 55th minute.
Ghana decided to engage the local side in a friendly after their 2019 African Cup of Nations game was cancelled due to a Fifa ban placed on the West African side.
