Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe will cap his breakout 2018 campaign in grand style, defending his super bantamweight title in the New York City.
The unbeaten boxer will make the second defense of his title against Mexico’s Emmanuel Navarrete on December 8 at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theatre.
Navarrete (25-1, 22 KO) is the highest-ranked opponent Dogboe (20-0, 14 KO) could face outside of his fellow champions, as #1 Diego De La Hoya is with Golden Boy.
The 23-year-old “Vaquero” has knocked out eight straight and has not tasted defeat since his sixth pro fight. “Royal Storm,” meanwhile, is riding high off of consecutive knockouts of Cesar Juarez, Jessie Magdaleno, and Hidenori Otake.
