Kotoko beat division two outfit Cedar Village FC 12-0 in two separate friendly games at the Adako Jachie training grounds on Tuesday morning.

Both sides paraded two different squads in the games that lasted 50 minutes each, and Kotoko scored six unanswered goals in either of them.

The first game had Felix Annan, Michael Frimpong, Evans Owusu, Wahab Adams, Agyeman Badu, Richard Senanu, Stephen Nyarko, Kwame Bonsu, Frederick Boateng, Prince Acquah and Yacouba Songne.

Boateng scored a hat-trick while Yacouba grabbed a brace after Acquah’s opener.

The second encounter started with Emmanuel Osei Kwame, Augustine Sefah, Abass Mohammed, Awudu Nafiu, Emmanuel Owusu, Syla Mohammed, Jordan Opoku, Obed Owusu, Kwame Boahene, Adam Musah, and Mohammed Sawadougo.

Kwame Boahene opened the scores, and was followed by a goal from Obed Owusu, before substitute Ibrahim Osman scored ahead of fellow substitute Naby Keita’s hat-trick.

Cedar Village FC occupied the 2nd spot in their zonal league before the suspension of the 2017/18 Premier League in June.

Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor used the opportunity to see the squad members, who have had less playing time in his first two competitive friendly games against the Black Stars and Save African Child Football Club.
