Kasim Nuhu sees Red on Champions league debut

Ghana Black Stars defender Kasim Nuhu’s Champions League debut endede on a sad note after the player was sent off in TSG Hoffenheim’s game with Olympique Lyon on Wednesday evening.

The former Young Boys defender was sent off in the 51st minute after receiving a second yellow card following a foul on Lyon forward Nabil Fekir.

Nuhu started in a three man defense for the German side alongside Ermin Bicakcic and Kevin Vogt bad had to take an early shower.

Despite losing one man, Hoffenheim were able to win a point in France after came from a two goal down to draw at the Groupama Stadium.

Kasim Nuhu will be absent when his side for the Champions league game game against FC  Shakhtar Donetsk on November 27th in Germany.
Hoffenheim’s Kasim Nuhu becomes the 6th player to be sent off while making his Champions League debut for a German club.
