Normalization Committee congratulates Black Maidens skipper Mukarama Abdulai

GFA Normalization Committee has congratulated Ghana Maidens skipper Mukarama Abdulai, for winning the Golden Boot after finishing top scorer at the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup held in Uruguay.

Skipper Mukarama won the Golden boot award and was named the third best player of the tournament despite Ghana going out in the quarter final stage.

“Your penchant for goals saw you score seven goals in four matches. You gallantly led the Black Maidens to advertise the Ghanaian brand of football that captured the imagination of the world”.

“Winning the Golden Boot as well as the Adidas Bronze Ball (third best player) epitomizes your valiant display of soccer artistry. We encourage you to remain focused and dedicated to your career”.

Getting to the quarter final stage of a prestigious competition like the world cup is no mean feat. You did the nation proud, and we say ayekoo! they added.

The Government and the good people of Ghana are very much appreciative of your achievement.

The Normalization Committee took the opportunity to commends the entire Black Maidens team for reaching the quarter final stage of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
