Kwabena Owusu leads the way as Black Meteors beat Togo in Kumasi

A hattrick from striker Kwabena Owusu gave the Ghana Black Meteors a huge victory over their counterparts from Togo in the first leg of the Caf Olympic games qualifier on Tuesday afternoon.

The game played at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports stadium saw Ghana beat the Togolese side by 5-1.

Three goals in each half from striker Kwabena Owusu and goals from Osman Bukari and Nassam Yakubu ensured coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side won the day.

The return leg comes off on Saturday in Togo with the Black Meteors hoping to complete the job.

Winners of the two legged games will face the U23 side of Gabon.
