Ghana’s Daniel Amartey Thrilled To Sign New Foxes Deal

Ghana International Daniel Amartey has revealed that he is delighted to have extended his contract with the Foxes.

The former FC Copenhagen player extended his stay with the Foxes with a new three and a half contract after impressing his sides technical handlers.

“I am very happy to sign this contract at Leicester City,” he told the clubs website, at their Belvoir Drive training ground after signing the deal.

“Personally, I am happy because last season I didn’t get much playing time and this season the manager gave me the chance so, for me, I was very happy.” he continued.

The 23-year-old Ghana international has been in top form since joining from Denmark in 2016.

He has been a regular for Claude Puel’s side this season, making 10 appearances and impressing at right-back in his fourth campaign as a Leicester player.

The versatile player has never looked back since making his debut
for Leicester City in a 1-0 win over Norwich City at King Power Stadium in February 2016.
