Hans Nunoo Sarpei joins Greuther Fürth on loan from Stuttgart

Stuttgart player Hans Nunoo Sarpei has joined SpVgg Greuther Fürth on loan.

The 20-year-old will spend the rest of the 2018/19 campaign with the Franconian second-division club, who have the option to buy the defensive midfielder on a permanent basis.

Hans Nunoo Sarpei swapped Ghana for Germany in 2016, joining VfB at just 18 years of age.

The left-footed player made two Bundesliga appearances and one DFB Cup outing for the club, while also featuring 20 times for Slovakian top-flight side FK Senica during a loan spell last season.

He becomes the second Ghanaian player to leave the German club after Ebenezer Ofori left to join MLS side New York City FC.
