Kevin Prince Boateng’s Barcelona debut ends in defeat

Kevin Prince Boateng began his Barcelona career on a bad note after his side lost 2-0 at the hands of Sevilla in the Copa del Rey game played on Wednesday night.

The former Ghanaian international was handed a start in attack alongside Brazilian player Malcom in the game played at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Midfielder Pablo Sarabia shot the home side in front 13 minutes into the second before forward Ben Yedder completed the win with the second goal in the 76th minute.

The former AC Milan and Tottenham player was replaced by Luis Suarez in the 63rd minute of the game.

Kevin Prince Boateng will be eyeing a good game in his subsequent games in bid to secure a place in the starting team.
