Kumasi Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of newly signed duo Dany Zabo Teguy and Habib Mohammed for the 2018/2019 Confederation Cup.
The Confederation of African football (CAF) accepted the documents sent by the Reds to have the duo registered into their team for the Caf Inter club competition.
The decision means the duo could now feature for the Porcupine Warriors in the rest of their games following a confirmation from CAF.
Asante Kotoko snatched Habib, a utility defender from regional rivals Ashgold, and Teguy from Swazi Premier League side Manzini Wanderers.
This comes as a boost to Charles Kwablan Akonnor’s side who are bent on returning Asante Kotoko back to the position they belong on the African continent.
Kotoko begun their Group stage campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Sudanese side Al Hilal on Sunday and will continue with a game against Zambian side Zesco United next Wednesday.
