Confederation Cup: Kotoko, Startimes secure deal to telecast games

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have secured a deal with StarTimes to telecast their CAF Confederation Cup home matches.

The deal will give the broadcast company to telecast all the home games of the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.

The deal will begin with Wednesday’s epic clash against Zambian side Zesco United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Communication Director of the Reds Lawyer Sarfo Duku confirmed the deal to a radio station in Kumasi but refused to give the financial details of the contract despite revealing the club will receive a package from StarTimes.

Kotoko began their Group games on a sad note after losing by a lone goal to Sudanese side Al Hilal last Sunday.

But the Kumasi based side have vowed to bounce back and make amends when they host Zesco on Wednesday afternoon.
