Hasaacas Ladies crowned champions of NC Women Special Competition after 3-2 win over Ampem Darkoa

Hasaacas Ladies has been crowned champions of the GFA Normalisation Competition Women Special Competition.

The Sekondi-Tadoradi based side won the maiden competition after beating Ampem Darkoa ladies by 3-2 on Sunday.

Hasaacas Ladies put up one of their best performance on the day to cancel Ampem Darkoa 2-0 lead in a game played at the El Wak Sports Stadium.

Ophelia Serwah and Mavis Owusu put the Techiman based side in the lead in the first half but Evelyn Badu and Millot Pokuaa cancelled those goals ending the first half on a 2-2 scoreline.

The second half began with both teams knocking on each others doors for goals but it was Hasaacas Ladies whose effort yielded fruit when they were awarded a penalty by referee Joyce Appiah which calmly converted by Perpetual Agyekum.

This will be the second time Hasaacas Ladies have beaten Ampem Darkoaa Ladies in the finals of the Women’s Competition to win the title with the first happening at the Tema Sports Stadium back
