The Ghana Black Stars B side advanced to the semi finals of the 2019 WAFU Championship on penalties on Friday night.
Ghana progressed to the semis with a 5-4 victory over Burkina Faso after the game had ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
The Stallions took the lead through Llias Tiendrebeogo in the 3rd minute before skipper Shafiu Mumuni leveled just before the break.
The second half of the game failed to produce a goal despite the Black Star B side possesion majority of the game.
In the shoot outs, Ghana goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi was the hero of the day when he saved two penalties to propel the Stars to the WAFU 2019 Semi finals.
While the rest of normal time could not produce another goal, the Black Stars B dominated possession but could not break down a resolute Burkina Faso team.
