Aduana Stars holds Medeama in Tarkwa

Aduana Stars players in a jubilant mood

Medeama SC were held to a barren drawn game at home by Aduana Stars in the week 24 clash at the T and A Park in Tarkwa on Saturday afternoon.

The game saw both sides failing to score a goal after 90 minutes of play despite creating decent goal scoring chances in the game.

Aduana Stars began the game on a good note by dictating the pace of the game in the first half yet failed to find the back of the net.

Aduana Stars dominated play in the first half but failed to find the back of the net of Medeama SC.Derrick Sasraku and Bright Adjei could have put Aduana in the lead in the early minutes of the match but saw their efforts go wide.

Back in the second half, The game switched in the direction of Medeama who mounted pressure on Aduana as they search for a goal in their bid to grab the lead but the resolute defence of  Aduana stood on their grounds to prevent Medeama from causing any havoc.

The results has lifted Aduana Stars to the top of the league ahead of WAFA who’s game against Asante Kotoko has been postponed.
