Ghana Coach Avram has revealed that the quarter final game against DR Congo would be very tough but believes his side will qualify ahead of Congo.
The Black Stars will travel to Oyem to play the Leopards of Congo on Sunday as they seek to make it to their sixth semi final in a role.
But the Israeli tactician who have been tasked by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to go and win the cup believes his side will win the tie and progress to the next stage even though it won’t be easy.
“This will be a different game, The Congolese have a very good team, the guys are very strong and though but I believe at end we will be the team to qualify for the Semis” Grant said.
Ghana are on a mission to end their 35 year trophy drought and have vowed to brush aside the Congolese side when they lock horns on Sunday.
The last time this two sides met in the AFCON, Ghana gave up a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with the Leopards.
