After playing in last season’s FA Cup final at the Cape Coast stadium, Liberty Professionals youngster Aikins Kyei Baffour is hoping to make his league debut on Sunday against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The youngster is eyeing a place in the starting team as they open their league campaign against the Porcupines at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kyei Baffour believes his performance in the preseason could earn him a place in coach Silas Tetteh’s team come Sunday in Kumasi.
Speaking to sportsfileghana.com, the youngster revealed that he has been working for the season and he would be happy if he should get his chance.
“I love to play in big games and it would be a dream if i should get the chance to make my debut” he said.
“Playing against kotoko any day is a big game, I have been working hard at training and i hope to start the season on a good note”.
“There is no pressure on me,I am really motivated for this game and i hope to make my debut and prove my worth” he added.
Baffour spent last season on loan in the division one league with Okwahu United.
He was part of the team which lost to Bechem United in the FA Cup final at the Cape Coast Stadium.
