Angry fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko stormed their Adako Jachie training grounds on Thursday afternoon to vent their displeasure on head Coach Zdravsko Lugarosic.
Fans of the club trooped the club’s training grounds to express their dissatisfaction over what they believe to be a bad performance from their head coach in the league this season.
The decision came after the club suffered it second defeat at the hands of Medeama on Wednesday in the week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Croatian tactician was prevented from entering the field to train with his team by the angry fans who have thronged the training grounds.
Training was halted for a period of time as officials try to resolve the misunderstanding between the fans and the coach.
The Porcupines began the league on a good account by beating Liberty Professionals by 2-1 in their opening game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
They followed up with a draw at the golden city park against Berekum Chelsea before winning against Bechem United, Elmina Sharks and a draw with Bolga All Stars.
They tasted their first defeat against rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium and suffered their second against Medeama SC at the Tarkwa T & A Park.
The club has pocketed just a point out of their last three games a performance which the fans believed does not befit the club.
