Kotoko players optimistic of victory over Medeama

Kumasi Asante Kotoko players have assured fans of the club of a a victory over Medeama SC on Sunday when they lock horns in the week 21 of the Ghana Premier League game at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupines Warriors are full of confidence going into this game after the President Cup triumph over Hearts of Oak on Monday.

Kotoko suffered their first ever defeat to Medeama in Tarkwa this season after losing 2 – 1 to the Mauve and Yellows in a game surrounded by a lot of controversies.

But the Reds says they have put behind them and are more focused on this Sunday’s game as they seek to redeem themselves.

Kotoko have endured their fair share of difficulties this season but believes their current form which has seen them gone unbeaten in four games could be an advantage for them on Sunday.

But Medeama on the other hand have vowed to do the double over the Reds for the first time which makes the game a promising encounter.

In other centers in the league, Tema Youth will open the weekend account when they host Ebusua Dwarfs at the Tema Stadium on Saturday, On Sunday, Great Olympics will play Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium whiles Aduana Stars host Liberty Professionals to the Dormaa Park.

At the Nduom stadium in Elmina, Elmina Sharks will play Bolga All Stars whiles Berekum Chelsea face Inter Allies before Bechem United take on Hearts of Oak.
