Ashgold will be hoping to continue their relegation battle with a win over Hearts of Oak when the two sides meet at the Accra Sports Stadium in the week 20 of the Ghana Premier league Tomorrow.
Ashgold will be hoping to climb up on the league table with a win over Hearts of Oak at their own backyard in the midweek tie.
The win seems possible for the “Aboa Kese” lads who are coming from a comfortable 3 -0 victory over Inter Allies last Saturday.
However Hearts after a 2 -0 away win over Elmina Sharks will also be seeking to record back-to-back league victories come Wednesday which makes the game a very tough one for both sides.
Coach Frank Nuttall insists his players will be ready for the midweek task and believes his side will carry the day after the final whistle.
“Yeah, we will be ready for the game. We will recover in the next couple of days and every team has a game today so we will recover and for sure, we will be ready,” Frank Nuttal told the club’s website.
Their first meeting in Obuasi ended 1-0 in favor of Hearts of Oak thanks to a beautiful strike from Paul Acquah but the Miners have vowed not allow that results repeat itself again in Tomorrow’s game.
Hearts have not lost at home all season having won five and drawn three times at the Accra Sports Stadium with the recent one a 4 – 0 victory over Bolga All Stars.
In other fixtures in the league, Liberty professionals will welcome Bolga All Stars to the Dansoman Karl Reindoff Park whiles league leaders WAFA play Elmina Sharks at their Sogakope base.
In Cape Coast, Ebusua Dwarfs will lock horns with Asante Kotoko at the Cape Coast Stadium with Medeama hosting Berekum Chelsea to the T and A Park in Tarkwa.
In Dormaa, Accra Great Olympics will play as guest to Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park whereas Wa All Stars takes on Tema Youth at the Wa Park before Inter Allies plays Bechem at the El Wak Stadium.
