Kumasi Asante Kotoko will renew their age – old rivalry with Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on August 6 to clear their outstanding match day 23 league fixture which was postponed after the club’s accident.
The Reds were given some time to recover after their tragic accident at Nkawkaw upon their return from Accra after their Premier League match against Inter Allies at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
The crunchy encounter between the two giants had to be rescheduledfor another day after the accident Kotoko left players and coaches injured.
Premier League Board (PLB) after a second medical report submitted by the Kotoko Management, announced that, the Porcupines will clear the first of their two outstanding Premier League matches on August 6, 2017.
It will be the team’s first game after the accident which also took the life of the club’s deputy equipment officer Thomas Asare.
