Coach Bashir Hayford has left his position as head coach of Ghana premier league side Ashantigold.
The outspoken manager tendered in his resignation letter to the Obuasi based side on Friday morning.
Hayford’s decision comes after he was given a three-match ultimatum to redeem the club from the bottom of the league table.
The Miners have failed to find their feet in this season’s league competition recording just two wins and a draw after eight matches.
The experienced trainer ended Ashantigold’s trophy drought when he guided the team to win the Ghana league in 2015 after 19 years of trying.
