Asante Kotoko and midfielder Bennett Ofori have agreed to mutually part ways the club has confirmed.
The player was initially put on loan but both parties have now agreed to terminate his contract so he can go elsewhere.
“Management discussed with him and we agreed to terminate the contract” Obed Acheampong.
“He was initially put on loan by the club but that has changed.
The former Berekum Chelsea play maker joined Kotoko on a three-year contract at the beginning of last season, hopeful of replicating his good Chelsea performance at Kotoko.
He has struggled to make the first team since joining and believes a move away will be good for him.
