Uganda Cranes will take on Egypt later today in 2018 world cup qualifiers match to be played at Borg El Arab Stadium, Alexandria.
According to the interim coach Kajoba, the squad that traveled on Sunday to Cairo is in good condition and energized with several training outside the stadium grounds plus the final training done inside the stadium to be used last evening.
“We are well prepared for the return game, we are not intimidated and we believe with all efforts put to use we can play world cup finals next year in Russia. Said Kajoba”
Kajoba adds that they are aware Egypt will be looking to compensate for the 1-0 loss to cranes in Kampala but positive the team will pick a valuable result.
“We understand that Arab teams give us hard time but we have taken all precautions and we believe the team will produce a fair result. Kajoba added”
Uganda beat Egypt 1-0 in Kampala in the first leg of the qualifiers last weekend to climb on top of group E with 7 points from 3 games followed by Egypt with 6 points and Ghana 3rd with 2 points with Congo Brazzaville last with 1-point.
The winner of the group after 6 games will automatically qualify for 2018 FIFA World Cup to host in Russia
