Confederations Cup: Bechem record first win

Bechem United opened their CAF Confederations Cup on a winning streak by beating MC Alger 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Ghanaian side recorded a win their debut African competition in today’s game against the Algerians.

The Hunters shot into the lead in the 50th minutes mark through an Amed Toure spot-kick.

But the Algerians levelled moments later through Seguer Mohammed.

Kwame Osei Bonsu restored the lead once again for Bechem United after profiting from a teed up effort from Toure.

The Bechem based club will now have to pull a draw the return fixture to ensure they progress to the next round of the competition.
