Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall believes his side is on the way to hitting top form despite drawing for the third time this season.
The Rainbows recorded a 1-1 draw in the midweek game against Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast but the Scottish is optimistic things will turn around.
Patrick Razak scored the club’s first goal of the season in the league match with Dwarfs but the hosts fought back to share the spoils.
“We started very well, we created early chances but again with a new team selection,” he told the club’s website.
“But the players stuck to the game plan well because it was a match away from home and even at the end of the game we had the ball in the back of the net [though the goal was disallowed]. It was good that we were still creating chances to the end of the game.
“We started the second half quite okay. But they got the early goal. We kept at it right to the end so that was the good thing.” he added.
Hearts of Oak have manage to pocket 3 points from a possible 9 after three games.
The Phobians currently occupies the ninth position on the league log six points adrift league leader Aduana Stars.
