Ghana faces Ethiopia in a crunchy encounter at the Baba Yara sports stadium which has been perfect home grounds for the all four time AFCON champions.
The black stars are returning to the Baba Yara stadium after two-years absence which where they they have rotated games between Accra and Tamale.
“We missed them and we know what the Kumasi fans can bring whenever we are playing, they (Kumasi) fans are die hard supporters, they will support you till the end which is very good”. Gyan said in an interview.
“We Know we have a point to prove and we will surely make them and the whole of Ghana happy come Sunday”
“we are going to make sure we win the game to build our confidence for the next game”. He added.
The Black Stars are still fighting to get the fans back after their relationship strained following their derelict 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign in Brazil.
Ghana is hoping to begin this year’s qualifier on a good note and have vowed to defeat the Ethiopians come Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
