Hearts, Inter Allies draw in league opener at El Wak

Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies settled for a 0-0 draw game in their Ghana Premier League game on played Monday at the El Wak Sports Stadium.

Both teams failed to register a goal as they shared the points in the game which was dominated by both sides.

The two teams came close to scoring on a number of occasions but goalkeepers of the sides stood their grounds and protected their goal post.

Goal Keeper Ben Mensah’s performance on the day was applauded by many fans who had throng the stadium to watch the game.

The former on two occasions made timely saves to prevent Inter Allies from scoring.

Frederick Yamoah,had the best chance of the game after his power drive hit the woodwork.

Ropapa Mensah should have put his in the lead but his effort was saved by Hearts goalkeeper Ben Mensah.

Hearts face Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday while Inter Allies clash with Liberty Professionals in Dansoman.
