Isaac Dogboe retain title after victory over Argentine

Isaac Dogboe

Young Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe continued his dream of winning a world title by knocking out Argentine Javier Chacon in the WBO International super bantamweight bout on Saturday night.

Dogboe showed his intentions of getting a knock out right from the first minute when he attacked his opponent with some heavy punches.

He eventually got what he wanted when Javier Chacon could not continue again in the sixth round.

Despite coming into the game with high hopes of a win, the South American could not stand the detemined young chap who came into the ring just to get the job done earlier than expected.

Constant punches flying from every angle of the ring by the former Olympian was too much for Chacon and had to bow to the little lad.

Coming into this game, Dogboe nicknamed “The Royal Storm” had fought 16 times without defeat and had beaten Argentine Julian Evaristo Aristule to win the WBO Latino and vacant WBO Inter-Continental super-bantamweight titles.
