Accra Hearts of Oak defender Joshua Otoo is confident the team will improve in their next game after a slow start against Inter Allies.
The Phobians played drew with Inter Allies in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League opener played at the El-Wak Stadium on Monday.
Hearts were not at their exhilarating best in the first match of the season but debutante Otoo believes his side will improve.
“Every first game of the season is tough and we did not expect an easy game against Inter Allies,” he told the club’s website.
“I am very confident we will improve in our next game. The truth is that we have to improve in all areas but I think the midfield and the attack should improve more to able to win matches.”
The former Wa All Stars defender was among five players who were handed their debuts on the day.
