A team of 32 players and officials on Saturday morning left Kumasi for Tamale, the Northern Regional capital for the match day-six duel against Bolga All Stars.
The contingent comprises 19 players, seven technical officials led by Coach Zdravko Logarusic are all on board a bus for the trip.
Captain Amos Frimpong returned to the squad after recovering from his wrist injury in the Kotoko-Liberty match.
Centre back, Awal Mohammed is part of the team but the likes of Baba Mahama, Kwame Boahene and Ollenu Ashitey could not make it as they couldn’t be passed fit for the clash.
In other related news, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will seek to continue their unbeaten run in the GPL when they take on Bolga All Stars in the week six game in Tamale.
The Porcupines have won four of their last five games and will be hoping to win against All Stars to maintain their chase for the league trophy.
But the newbies despite their slow start in the competition so far have vowed to beat Kotoko come Sunday to get their league campaign on track.
