Kumasi Asante Kotoko will clash with their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on March 12, 2017 in an epic match at the Accra Sports Stadium as part of activities marking Ghana’s 60th Independence Anniversary.
Kotoko and Hearts have had such engagements in the past, with the recent one being in the President Cup – played on July 1, 2016.
Kotoko won that encounter and the fabulous lads plus their fans will be glad to have another taste of victory in the impending game.
Accra Representative for the Reds Thomas Boakye Agyeman disclosed to the club’s website that, Management has been contacted for the historic clash which would be played after the independent celebration.
The match will as well mark the Porcupines’ first visit to the capital for a game in the New Year.
