Kotoko scouting for new players

Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Steve Pollack has revealed that the team is on a scouting mission in the ongoing Wafu tournament.

The English coach was spotted at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday when the Black Stars B played their counterparts from Guinea Conakry which Ghana won by 2-0.

Coach Steve Pollack after the game revealed that he was there to look for new players to augment his current squad and also to watch his captain Amos Frimpong who was playing for the Black Stars.

“I’m the head of scouting & I’m here on a scouting mission. If i find a quality player, the Board will know and we’ll go from there” he said.

The coach says this move is to get new players in and around the country to beef up the current squad for next season.
