Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is on the verge of joining Ghanaian players who have won the Uefa Champions league trophy after his club Juventus booked their ticket for this year’s final.
The budding player would become the sixth Ghanaian player to win the trophy if Juventus are able to win the crunch final scheduled for June 3.
Juventus defeated French side AS Monaco 4 – on aggregate after two legs to book a place in this year’s Uefa champions league final which has been slated for the Millennium Stadium.
The former Udinese star could join the likes of Abedi Ayew Pele, Ibrahim Tanko, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Micheal Essien and Sulley Muntari if they are able to win on the final day.
Kwadwo Asamoah will be hoping fortune smiles at him this time after missing out on the three years ago where they were beaten 3 – 0 by Barcelona.
