Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Malik Akowuah insist he is fully fit after returning from an ankle injury he picked up early last month.
The former Medeama player was replaced in their 4-2 win over Bechem United early last month after complaining of pains in his ankle.
After sitting out of the team for some time now, Akowuah has decleared he is now fully fit and ready to help the team again.
“I am feeling much better now and I have been training for some time so I can confirm I am fully fit and ready to go again for the team,” he told the club’s Accraheartsofoak.com
“We have a difficult game coming up against Liberty on Sunday and so we are preparing well to do what we have to do on the field of play.
“The team has slowly been hitting the right rhythm and I believe the only way for us to go now is to move up the table. We know it will not be easy on Sunday against Liberty but we are hoping that at the end of the game, we get what we want which is the three points.”
Akowuah will be hoping to be selected for the game in Dansoman against Liberty Professionals on Sunday at the Karl Reindoff Park.
