The Ghana Black Starlets gave up a two goal lead to draw with Tanzania in friendly game played on Monday afternoon.
The Tanzanians began the game on a brighter note where they mounted pressure on the young Ghanaians but failed to register a goal.
Ghana found their feet and register the first goal of the game through Sulley Ibrahim on the 20th minute ending the first half on 1-0 win for the travelers.
The second half began with Coach Fabian’s side mounting a lot of pressure on their counterparts from the East African side.
The pressure yielded fruit when Edmund Arko Mensah added the second of the day for the Black Starlets 30 minutes into the second department of the game.
Black Starlets seemed to be cruising to victory with 15 minutes left to play but the Tanzanians fought back to equalize or to goals to end the game in a 2-2 stalemate.
Assad Juma pulled one back for his from the spot in the 90th minute before Muhsin Malima levelled the score for in the dying embers of the game.
Black Starlets are currently preparing ahead of the 2017 Africa Youth Championship which will be held in Gabon next month.
Ghana have been housed in Group A alongside hosts Gabon, Cameroon and Guinea.
