Okwahu United set to appoint new President

Division one league side Okwahu United FC is set to announce a new President of the club after the exit of Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency Bryan Acheampong.

The Member of Parliament for resigned from his post as President of Okwahu United after failing to reach an agreement with the stakeholders of the club following numerous negotiations.

Close sources has revealed to sportsfileghana.com that, the team has been given to new management who is set to be unveiled to the club’s fans soon.

The yet to be appointed President to take over the Soccer mountaineers is said to be very rich and also a very big fan of the club.

The Eastern Region based club after finding themselves at the bottom of the division one league log following a difficult start coupled with issues with the FA over failure to settle the salary of their former coach Sarfo Castro, the club have been able to climb to the 13th position with 13 points.
