The Black Stars of Ghana put up a splendid performance to win 5-1 over the Red Devils of Congo in Brazzaville in their the 2018 World Cup qualifier game played on Tuesday.
Five goals from two players Richmond Boakye Yiadom and Thomas Partey ensured the four time African Cup winners record a heavy win over the Congolese at their own backyard.
Richmond Boakye Yiadom completed a perfect run fro Thomas Agyepong to put the Ghanaiains in the lead before Thomas Partey added the second in the 25th minute to put Ghana 2-0 up.
Ukraine based player Illoy Ayett pull one back for the Red Devils to take the score to 2-1 before Thomas Partey registered his second of the day to take the tally to 3-1 in favor of the away side to end the first half.
Back from recess, Partey completed his hat trick by scoring the fourth goal for the Black Stars after a mistake from a Congolese defender.
Red Star Belgrade striker Boakye Yiadom sealed the win for the Ghanaians with a fine finish after recieving a pass from Harrison Afful before slotting it in the net.
The Black Stars are now third in group E with 5 points after three games.
