Striker Raphael Dwamena will miss Ghana’s 2018 World Cup double header game against Congo after he was excused by coach Kwesi Appiah.
The FC Zurich forward failed to secure a move to English Premiership side Brighton and Holve Albion due to a failed medical test.
But after passing a new test conducted by his club, the player has now been advice to stay back for further assessment which means he will miss the Black Stars game.
Dwamena was scheduled to join his colleagues on Wednesday but has now pull out after a request from his club.
The former Red Bull Salzburg striker has scored five (5) goals and assisted four times in all competitions for FC Zurich after six games and has two goals for Ghana.
