Accra Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey has been named the club’s Player of the Month for March.
Abbey was in fine form in the month of March though he only hit target once when he netted in the 2-1 away defeat to Tema Youth.
The hardworking winger was unlucky not to find target in the first game of March, having since his goal-bound strike hit the opposite frame of Aduana Stars post in a 2-0 away defeat in Dormaa.
Abbey was in the thick of things in the 2-1 win over Great Olympics in the following game. His free-kick caused the commotion that led to Inusah Musah stabbing home the match winner.
A bit belatedly, Abbey was named the POTM for March after our 4-0 rout of Kotoku Royals and he took home an undisclosed cash amount as reward for the award.
